This Privacy Policy explains how the Noorah mobile application ("Noorah", the "App", "we", "us", or "our"), published by AppsGrowth, collects, uses, and shares information when you use the App. By using Noorah, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Summary
- Noorah does not require you to create an account and does not ask for your name, email, or phone number.
- We use your location to calculate accurate prayer times and the Qibla direction.
- The App is free and ad-supported. Our advertising partners use a device advertising identifier to show and measure ads.
- We exclude advertising categories that are inappropriate for our audience (e.g., gambling, alcohol, dating).
- You can reset or limit ad tracking, and (in supported regions) manage advertising consent at any time.
2. Information we collect

Noorah does not knowingly collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or any special-category (sensitive) personal data beyond what is described above.
3. How we use information
- To calculate and display prayer times, the Qibla direction, the Hijri calendar, and reminders.
- To deliver, frequency-cap, and measure advertising that keeps the App free.
- To diagnose crashes, monitor performance, and improve features.
- To comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse or fraud.
4. Advertising and third-party partners
Noorah is supported by advertising. We use mobile ad mediation and ad networks that may collect and process device identifiers and ad-interaction data to serve and measure ads. Depending on configuration, these partners may include:
- AppLovin (MAX) — mediation and advertising — privacy
- Google AdMob / Google — advertising and analytics — privacy
- Mediated networks such as Unity Ads, Liftoff/Vungle, ironSource, Mintegral, Pangle, Yandex, Meta Audience Network, each subject to its own privacy policy.
These partners may use the advertising identifier and similar technologies to provide personalized or non-personalized advertising and to measure performance. We instruct our ad partners to block advertising categories inappropriate for our audience, including gambling, alcohol, and dating, but we cannot guarantee every ad will be filtered.
5. Analytics
We may use analytics and crash-reporting tools (for example, Google Firebase) to understand aggregate usage and improve reliability. These tools collect device and event data as described above.
6. Consent (EEA, UK, and similar regions)
Where required by law, we present a consent message (via Google's User Messaging Platform or a comparable Consent Management Platform) before personalized ads are shown, and we respect your choice. You can change your consent at any time in the App settings.
7. Your choices and rights
- Location: deny or revoke location permission in your device settings, or set your city manually.
- Advertising ID: reset or delete it, or opt out of personalized ads, in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- Notifications: disable any or all reminders in the App or device settings.
- GDPR (EEA/UK): you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent.
- CCPA/CPRA (California): you may opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information used for cross-context behavioral advertising.

8. Data sharing and transfers
We share data only with the service providers and ad partners described above, or where required by law. Because these partners operate globally, information may be processed in countries other than yours, with appropriate safeguards where required.
9. Data retention
Location is processed on your device and is not retained on our servers. Diagnostic, analytics, and advertising data are retained only as long as necessary for the purposes described, or as required by our partners' and applicable legal requirements.
10. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
11. Children
Noorah is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide notice in the App.
