Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Noorah mobile application (the "App"), published by AppsGrowth ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using Noorah, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. License to use the App

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Noorah on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from.

2. Religious content — important disclaimer

Prayer times, the Qibla direction, Hijri dates, and similar information in Noorah are calculated estimates based on your location, the calculation method and madhab you select, and astronomical formulas. They may differ from your local mosque or authority. Always verify with your local mosque or a trusted religious authority, especially for Fajr, Maghrib, the start of Ramadan, and Eid. Noorah is a helpful tool and is not a substitute for religious guidance.

Quranic text, translations, recitations, and supplications are provided for convenience. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that all content is free of error, and we are not responsible for reliance on it.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code except as permitted by law; (b) copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App; (c) use the App for any unlawful purpose; or (d) interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers.

4. Advertising

Noorah is free and supported by advertising. By using the App you acknowledge that it displays advertisements provided by third-party networks. We aim to exclude inappropriate ad categories (such as gambling, alcohol, and dating) but do not control, and are not responsible for, the content of third-party ads. Your interactions with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising data is handled.

5. Intellectual property

The App, including its name "Noorah", logo, design, and original content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

6. Third-party services and stores

The App is distributed through third-party app stores (such as Google Play) and integrates third-party services (such as ad networks and analytics). Your use of those services is also governed by their respective terms and policies.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that calculated times or directions will be perfectly accurate.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — including reliance on prayer times, Qibla, or other calculated information.

9. Changes to the App and Terms

We may modify or discontinue the App, or update these Terms, at any time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date above.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

11. Governing law

AppsGrowth provides Noorah to users globally and does not designate a single national jurisdiction in these Terms. These Terms are to be interpreted reasonably and in good faith. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
